Pol Cambost began as a sculptor but he quickly started to work with pottery in 1930s. Established in Paris, Chambost explored the many faces of pottery until his death in 1983. Pol Chambost is the spearhead of the Chambre Syndicale des céramistes d’art of France. His designs - unique pieces or limited editions - show a juxtaposition of colors and mix of lines and curves.
