Max INGRAND

France (1908-1969)

Max Ingrand was a french glass designer who studied at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs and Ecole des Beaux-Arts, both in Paris. Ingrand became involved in glass design, active in France, Europe and the Americas. Max Ingrand designed the illuminated glass fountain in Rond-point of avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris. He decorated the residence of président Bourguiba (Tunisia). Ingrand worked for Saint-Gobain glass-works Fontana Arte and 1953 stained-glass windows in the church of Saint-Pierre de Montmatre in Paris. Max Ingrand was counsellor of Commerce of Trade, vice-president of Société des Artistes Décorateurs, president of Association française de l’éclairage and officier of the Légion d’honneur.
