Bernard-Albin GRAS

France

In 1921, Bernard-Albin Gras creates a collection of lamps for industry and design office. The lamp ‘Gras’ has a surprising ergonomic and simple mechanisms - no screws, no welds - that gives it ruggedness. Used by Le Corbusier, Mallet-Stevens or Eileen Gray, it was considered to be the best architect lamp. At the same time portable and robust, the lamp Gras is the reference for table lamps. With an articulated arm of 51cm expanded on a pyramidale basis, it is adjustable in every direction.
