Pierluigi Spadolini was an italian architect and designer born in Florence in 1922. In 1962, Spadolini joined the faculty of ISIA of Florence directed by Angelo Maria Landi. Among his best known works are the office of the nation in 1965, the Palazzo dei Congressi in Florence (1974), the pavilion Spadolini in the Fortezza da Basso in 1976 – which bears his name – and the Palace of Justice in Turin in 1998. Spadolini was also known internationally by building yachts. He was one of the principal expert of industrials building conception and the construction architectural panels.He also designed furniture: drawers, shelves, tables for his own architectural projects.
