Warren PLATNER

USA (Born in 1919)

Graduated from Cornell University School of Architecture in 1941, Warren Platner collaborates with the best agency of the country. He works with Raymond Loewy and I.M Pei from 1945 and 1950. He earns the prize of Rome in 1955. Then he associates with Eero Saarinen between 1960 and 1965. They design together Washington D.C. airport. He founds his own firm ‘Platner Associates’ in 1967 in New Haven in the Connecticut. He designs notably the Georg Jensen Design Centre and the restaurant « Windows on the World » du World Trade Center.
