BOYER Michel

1935-2010
France

Architect, Designer and Professor at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Decoratifs, Michel Boyer has carried out numerous important private commissions since the 1960s. Noted for his design of the offices of the Rothschild bank, he has worked in particular for the L’Oréal group, the Dior, Balmain and Lanvin houses and, more recently, for the Alstom and Vivendi Environnement companies. Concerned about the quality of his productions, Michel Boyer then distributed his furniture himself within the Galerie Rouve. He is today considered one of the greatest French designers of the second half of the 20th century.
