Antoine Philippon, trained at the Ecole Boulle, met Jacqueline Lecoq, a graduate of Decorative Arts, in 1954. Throughout their collaboration, they claimed the values of the Union of Modern Artists and created furniture for use by the greatest number, whose uncompromising aesthetic intended to result from a total adequacy between the creator, the material and the manufacturer. They participated in the Universal Exhibitions of Brussels and Montreal, and collaborated several times with the Mobilier National.
