BIBERON Matthias

Matthias Biberon, cabinetmaker, lives and works in Perche (Normandy / France).

He began working with wood in 2019, leaving behind photography and ceramics practiced
successively for many years.

He finds in wood the pleasure of imagining shapes and building them,
with as much naivety as attention paid to the gesture
Stone work then gradually came to interfere in his creations.

The search for balance and accuracy is one of the pivots of his work,
his pieces of furniture combining purity and softness
in a functionality that is both poetic and sculptural.
