CLOUTIER Frères

The two twin brothers of ceramics. After being apprentices with established ceramists: Lafourcade, Rivière, Georges Jouve and Pol Chambost, Jean and Robert Cloutier set up their own workshop in 1955 on rue de Reuilly in Paris. They created utilitarian and decorative objects, developing a very personal poetic universe. After a 4-year interlude in Yonne, the Cloutiers settled permanently in Languedoc, continuing their research in ceramics, served by a perfectly mastered profession. (the Cloutier brothers)
