RUTH Théo

Théo RUTH began his collaboration with the famous Dutch publisher Artifort in 1936. For the latter, he exclusively designed furniture strongly inspired by the principles of organic design developed in Scandinavian countries: fluid shapes, use of wood, ergonomic concerns, etc. His main creations include the Penguin armchair published in 1957 and the 115 model produced in 1959.
