SANEJOUAND Jean-Michel

Coming from the artistic scene of the 60s, the work of Jean-Michel Sanejouand remains unclassifiable. It surprises by its radicalism, its permanent formal questioning. Each of these works corresponds in fact to one of the series that make up his work among which: the Charges-Objects, distant cousins ​​of the Ready-Made, the Espaces-Peintures, the Sculptures and the Espaces-Critiques. Sanéjouand’s work has been praised by many institutions including the Centre Georges Pompidou in 1995 and the Frac des Pays de la Loire in 2012.
